Bogner Ecstacy footswitch help....

Hi, just wondering if anyone here has access to a Bogner Ecstacy footswitch and can take a decent picture of the insides for me?
Big ask I know but hopefully someone here can help. I found a picture of the pinouts but cant figure out the LED's.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Amp suggestion

What about a kit or fully assembled Rocket from.Ceriatone?
There are a few subtle.differences in the circuit but that would get you in the ballpark.

Re: Magnatone build

I changed the speed pot out for a linear 500k instead of the 1m with the 1m resistor over it.
Much nicer taper. The original pot did very little under half way....actually nothing.

Did you use the 0.47uf filter for v1? Such a crazy small value.....never did get around to trying more filtering.

Re: Magnatone build

I ended up removing the conjunctive filter. rolled some nos tubes trough the amp and found a set that sounded great without it. Besides mine was to be top mounted in its headshell and i didnt like the extra heat the 10w resistor was radiating. Footswitch is a simple and useful addition. The core to...

Re: How low is too low?

It only has one secondary winding. A gz34 would help the problem but a better solution would probably be a higher voltage cap can. All that aside, theres no denying that high voltage make a huge amp. The punch and volume is massive. Its quite imposing. I might have to squeeze in a small daugher boar...

Re: How low is too low?

Ok a bit of context. Ive just finished Friedman style Mashallesque build using a Heyboer jtm45 HV pt. Im running a 500v single cap can paralelled for 100uf for the plates. I dont have the luxury of room to fit the usuall 4x cap cans series paralelled and my b+ is 485v loaded but 498v without tubes. ...

Re: How low is too low?

Going too low in value has to affect the b+.
So at what value would you expect to lower b+?

Re: Magnatone build

Awesome to see someone else get into this circuit. Sounds amazing with the NOS varistors. Regarding the cascaded circuit values, how much do they vary from what I used in the schematic I posted? I found I could get both volumes cranked and still retain a useable sound.........It was like Angus Young...

How low is too low?

How low can you go on a bleed resistor without affecting tone?
Is a 100k bleeder going to give a lower running voltage than say a 220k?
Or will it not affect the B+ whilst powered up?

Re: Magnatone is back

Still have to add the black mesh to the rear panel, but asthetically, its almost all done. Re: Magnatone is back

If you click on the pics it should open photobucket. Bottom rhs of each pick is the + magnifying glass. Click it to open the image and click it again to open the full size image.
Youll see the varistors easily then.

Re: Magnatone is back

Based on the Titano schematic. Original and mine. Other than the cascade, the pink dots are the major circuit changes. Also note the conjunctive filtering. Re: Magnatone is back

I actually came up with this idea after countless hours watching Phil X punish his Tonemaster with a Digitech Bad Monkey. I figured with an extra triode just sitting there idle it may as well be put to good use. Its hard to capture with a phone cam, but the tone is better than any OD pedal pushing a...

Re: Magnatone is back

Thank guys. The heaters were a long shot, but the amp is quiet as a mouse and looks just as good. Feel free to steal the idea :D Im almost finished the head cab and it looks as beautiful as it sounds. I went with 2 inputs rather than four but instead of having two differently voiced channels, I deci...
