Thanks, but literally need someone to circle the tonestack so i can grasp what the heck everyone is referring to.

I am a new to Dumble amps. What in the world does a Skyline tonestack look like? I have searched for images, but I cant find any. All I know is that its supposed to look like city skyline, but I have never seen a actual tonestack nor know where to look.

I have seen a lot of people.drop.6550s in their plexi superlead or bass but never a JTM 45 100. Any reason for this? Is it possible to use anything other than kt66s? Just curious.

Thanks. So you think changing nfb resistor and attaching to 8 ohm lug would be best bet? Anything mods to tone stack? What exactly does attaching to 8 ohm lug accomplish?

Should I consider changing the dropping resistor on the super bass to match the 1986 voltages?

Just curious if it is possible to do the tweedle.dee.amp mods to a 57 tweed twin. Anyone have experience in this?

Well, there was a 12au7 tube in the preamp section, but it was in V2. I swapped it for the tube in v4 and the volume is definitely louder and is equivalent to inputs 3 and 4 now. It still funny, because it does not get super loud until it is nearly cranked, but I suppose that has to do with the volu...

So, I need to change the PI to a 12au7? I will double-check again.

The 12ax7 cannot supply enough power to the power tubes??

I am in the Greenville/ Spartanburg area.

All preamp tubes are 12ax7. In addition, I also played through all 8 inputs and there is a big difference. Inputs 1 and 2 are much much quieter than input 3 and 4. I guess I will need to take it to the tech again. The MV really sucks and it's so noisey.
