Other than Mercury Magnetics & Edcor, who else is supplying transformers?

I haven't been on the site for a while and just clicked on my bookmarked link and to my dismay it looks look Classictone is no more - say it ain't so!

Thinking about building a low wattage (5-10 watts) single-ended amp using a KT88. What is the preferred Output transformer impedance for that power tube?

Using a new production Tungsol. Got a socket adapter on the way to plop-in a 12AX7. If that doesn't do it for me I'll try that circuit sluckey used on his Jet.

Would changing the values of the Intensity pot (50K) and/or the 68K resistor that connects the Intensity ...

Disconnect the INT pot from V3A. Does the LED drop out at slow speeds now?

Can't use output tube, this amp is cathode biased.

Tried a diffuse red 5mm (1.74v): Slightly more output but when I slow the speed down oscillation stops. I have to crank up the speed then turn it back down to get it to oscillate at slower speeds - not ideal. Yellow diffuse 3mm (1.85v): A hair better than the red as far as output but still same prob...

Diffuse red or waterbright clear red? Does it matter if it's 5mm or 3mm? 'Cause in some instances size matters.

Yo sluckey, tapped in at V2 pin3 (cathode) and... DISCO! Movin' and a groovin', I have tremolo! Now I would like to increase the intensity of the effect, if possible. Ahh, let me clarify: The Normal/Bright Volume pots turned up diminishes the squeal of the Treble pot at the 2/3 rotation and beyond.
