I have a jtm45 with radio spares ot running a 8 ohm load I have a 27 k resistor in there now would a 47 k make the amp a little more gainy?

Just wondering what the tonal difference are I'm using the Marstran rs ot

so if black is ground and green is hot those are for the speaker connections? which are for the impedence switch?according to Marstan chart? am I just hooking to the 8ohm portion of the switch? Thank You Martin your really helping me out!

Thank You Martin! Ill be running kt66 tubes would like breakup but not to early, as far as B voltages im not sure what i want there, another newbie question is the center tap(tan, red) on the chart the only ground on the o t?

so what i hearing from you and seeing on the chart i would wind the 8k wire(brown) and the other 8k wire (brown/w white stripe) and those two would go to v4 and v5?

Im want to run the amp at 8ohms being that i have two 16 ohm speakers.

running the amp at 8 ohms (2-16 ohm speakers) which are my primary output tranformers wires?

I trying to get activated to the Marstran forum I guess there busy over there. Im sure Ill have alot of questions hooking the output tranny, till then

the high voltage (ht) taps are on the same side as the heaters as opposed to the metro trannies is that normal? please excuse the dummy questions and there will be more

has anyone used these Radio spares from Marstan and can anyone provide any layouts? Thanks

Can anybody tell me where are the high voltage leads on this transformer it's the 1202-55 and Im sure ill be asking many more question about these transformers Thank in advance for once again saving my butt!
