How about posting them here so we all don't have to bug the seller?

Re: SSS #2 Started
Hi Eric,
Please remember that the tech who did the schematic actually had the amp on his bench - no one else had this "primary material" to work from. I would go 100% with the original schematic unless I had a good reason to deviate.
Good luck!

Re: SSS #2 Started
I noticed that the 470k resistors from power section grid resistors to ground were ommitted on Aaron's layout (they show up in the schematics). Can someone tell me what the purpose of these resistors is? Is it something unique to a Cathode Follower setup?

Re: SSS #2 Started
Any progress on this build? It looks great! Thanks for your interest......... I've got next steps figured out: 1. Get the dropping string worked out so I have better voltages. 2. Figure out how to use my oscilloscope so I can hammer out where I'm loosing the signal, pretty sure it's V1B. The layout...

Yeah, I agree. I'm wondering if a MOSFET based VVR/Powerscaling type circuit would be the best way to go.grtamp wrote:drop down 135v is a hard work , maybe with a zener diode , but I'm not sure! wait other suggestion!

Bias tap for Post-PI Cathode Follower - dropping the voltage
I'm playing around with Post-PI Cathode Followers and I noticed that HAD connects into one of the Twin Reverb PT's high voltage taps in order to create his negative bias tap. When I do this, I get approx -285v, which is way too high for the 12BH7 setup that I'm working with. I would like to take the...

Re: 1968 Bassman Transformer (vs) 1968 Bandmaster Transformer
Thanks. Power transformers I am discussing. What is the deal with the 5V missing rectifier if I put the 1968 45w/50w Bassmam tranny into the 1968 40w Bandmaster Reverb chassis? PLMK. Thank you. The Bassman was solid state rectified (diodes), so it didn't need a 5V heater/filament tap for the rectif...

Re: Dumble Modified Bassman Ebay
Anyone have any idea what mods were done to this Bassman? I've got a hacked up Bassman (someone else's hack job) in need of a new life.

Re: First build. need a little help please.
I don't know that kit, but it sounds like they are elevating the center tap with the 100R resistor to eliminate hum (instead if going directly to ground with it).

Re: First build. need a little help please.
I don't know that tranny, but power transformer center taps usually go to ground at or near the power transformer.
