Also, the schematic shows a 10k resistor from whatever power supply node to the reverb transformer, but no cap at the transformer. I found a 22uF electrolytic tightened things up a bit, but again that was personal preference

Hey mate I have build that amp just recently too, and could not even fathom turning the reverb send and return over 3, otherwise it would wash out massively. I've ordered 3 different triode variations for different gain charactoristics and after that will play with voltages. But Taylor from amplifie...

Thanks for the suggestions, and concern, I am very aware of the dangers and am always very careful. Found the problem, just a simple unconnected ground at the presence resistor and cap. Explains why it only worked when the feedback was connected, as it picked up a ground path through the tranny, and...

Hi guys. Just finished my 2 Rock clone and fired it up. I had the OT primaries wrong so I simply cut the feedback resister (4.7K) out to just test the amp. Sounded fine, blisteringly loud as expected (100w, 2x12 speakers). I have since swapped the the OT primaries and reinstated the feedback resiste...
