Just for comparison here is my old LP.
I wonder what transformers he used before and on this one? Looks like Hybore but not sure what he means by a different more beefed one. People usually use the same one for a TW build.

Re: I bought a clone Liverpool used but...
Here is a reply from the builder: The guy that ordered that one has a bunch of them. I built them all with differences so they wouldn't be redundant. It has a different OT than a regular pool and different lead dress. Other than that it's pretty close to a stock pool. AND It's a presence circuit. It...

Re: I bought a clone Liverpool used but...
Looks like a Liverpool. That last knob is the presence pot. Just has different PT&OT arrangement and different power supply board. After going through the circuit it is a Liverpool but the presence knob is acting like a gain knob. Yes, it gets a little brighter ask turn it up. On my old Liverpool I...

I bought a clone Liverpool used but...
Not sure what I have here. I bought a Liverpool from the guy whom this was built for. He had a Rocket for sale too. I miss my old Kane LP so I bought this asap. He said it just didn't have a bright switch which I was ok with. The last knob seems to be a gain knob of some sort. The mid pot doesn't re...

No bright switch on a Liverpool?
Has anyone built a Liverpool without a bright switch? I had a Liverpool in the past and the switch introduced noise to the amp. I never really had a need for it either.

Re: TWO ROCK EMERALD PRO REVISITED 5 years later
Stupid me. I was thinking there were other differences to the gain. I can see why the Onyx should be their top of the line amp. Odd how it never caught on. All independent and front panel eq/

Re: TWO ROCK EMERALD PRO REVISITED 5 years later
Whats the difference in the custom reverb (V1 if that matters) and the emerald pro? I know the independent OD eq but is there anything else? If I had a Custom Reverb and sent it to TR to add OD eq and gain inside, would it be the same amp? Really a totally different amp. I loved my CR sig V1. Its m...

Re: Bruno 2X12 Cabinet
The best sounding 2x12 I have used is the DR Z open back. I have that and 2 z wreck cabs but the regular open back just is bigger and deeper sounding. Maybe the speakers are broken in because the only difference is the regular back vs oval on he wreck. Z uses lens technology and I believe in that! T...

Re: Two rock differences
I found my own answer: I have been looking for a Two Rock amp for a while and haven't pulled the trigger yet. I understand amps but the line of amps from TR really confused me. I didn't understand what was different in the sound vs features. I talked with Chad via email a few times and just decided ...

Two rock differences
I have researched and read all I could but I can't find info on the onyx (older one). I am looking for signature tr cleans but I want dumble drive too. I don't care about 2 channels but I guess that's a bonus. I ask bc I want a nice quality tr and an onyx is for sale.
