Re: Santana Dumbles
Was that “Feeling You” Dumble, originally more of a 70s voicing (before HAD updated it).?

Re: Santana Dumbles
I guess my other question (in the timeline of Santana owning that amp), would the recorded "Game of Love" song have been when the ODR was in its original state? I heard Dumble modded it into an HRM/post-OD reverb model, whereas I'm not sure what it was before exactly. I think Dave Workman owned it b...

Re: Santana Dumbles
Need to get the details. If the OP is referring to the recorded versions of Game of Love , 2002, and I'm Feeling You , 2005, those would predate the switch to Bludo, wouldn't they? Yeah, I'm talking of recorded versions, but even here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfBgrtPbxOg (Dumble ODR) he get...

Santana Dumbles
This may have been answered elsewhere but I love the tone Santana has gotten on the tracks “Game of Love” (Michelle Branch version) and “Feeling You” (coincidentally also Michelle Branch Vox). To me the lead tone doesn’t have the “grit”raggedness” to it. Almost like a compressor is in it but the dyn...

Re: John Mayer with a Dumbleland?
Long shot I know but seeing if anyone's been inside this specific dumbleland or any other dumbleland and has specific info on them in how they differ from the SSS sort of amps.

Re: John Mayer with a Dumbleland?
Sorry to dig an older thread, but has anyone had any first hand experience with this "hallowed" amp?
Either playing it, or knowing what's going on inside the amp?

Music Man Transormfers
I saw some older threads talking about music man transformers used in amps and was wondering if there were specific models of MM amps that had the right transformers? I know of the RD, RP, and HD series of pa but don't know which transformers were used in the dumbles. Are they different? Or did MM j...

Gutshots anyone?

Re: Two Rock Opal and HRM bypass and TS-1
Cool. I've been listening to clips of the TS-1 and they kind of haunt me. Especially the one demonstrating the volume knob cleanup ability. Just with they weren't unobtanium.

Re: Dumble SSS Silver Alligator Snakeskin
Cool, yeah I gathered from the threads, that it wasn't a SSS, or even if it was labeled as such, sure wasn't on the inside. Not techy myself, but wondering if I could find something that a local custom builder could use.

Dumble SSS Silver Alligator Snakeskin
I went through some older threads and had some basic questions. Is the "silver alligator" sss that people refer to, the same as the one that's covered in a snakeskin: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/470978073502876209/ Also, I perused the "dumbleland (was SSS)" thread and saw the schematic for the prea...

Two Rock Opal and HRM bypass and TS-1
I had a few questions about the Opal and other two rocks. Is there a schematic for the Opal? Is this the only model that is both HRM and bypasses for non-HRM? How difficult would it be to mod the Opal schematic for 100 watts? In a related note, is there circuit info for the TS-1? Anyone been inside ...
