Hello,
I want to replace my cheap EL34 tubes that where only for testing my amp.
NOS are hard to find and way too expensive. What would you recommend for EL34? What about 12AX7?
Regards
JP

Re: How to bias a Trainwreck Express
Hello, I'm going to replace tubes in my Express amp. I would like to adjust bias as simple as possible. This is my first time. Is it the type of probe I need: https://www.amazon.ca/Nobsound-Vacuum-Amplifier-Current-Cathode/dp/B07CR5DN1V/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=Bias%2Bprobe&qid=1588031640&sr=8-1&th=1...

Re: Trainwreck Express Head Cabinet step by step
Actually a cover does good things for you, especially in an environment where you have a lot of electrical noise. You never know when that is going to occur so a cover is cheap insurance. One thing about the cover is that it can be made from any metal sheet or even screen. You want it to make conta...

Cool! Thanks a lot!
No need to put a cover on the aluminum chassis right?
Will post HD pictures when I'm over.

Head cab
Hey guys!
Here is first layer(of 3) of finishing oil. I used Prato-Verde Secondo, from Québec, Canada.
How do you mount the aluminum chassis with the wood cab?
Thanks,
JP

Trainwreck Express Head Cabinet step by step
Hi,
I've almost finished my build. I need to make a head cab.
I searched forum but did not find any "step by step" tutorial on how to make a wood cabinet. Is there any links you can propose me ?
Thanks a lot,
JP

The (brown, I think) wire is too big for my tube socket. I don't know what to do.. should I buy new tube socke...

Guitar volume pedal
Hi everyone, I have some questions concerning Guitar volume pedal. I would like to buy one / or build one. What are your experiences with volume pedal? I want one as transparent as possible and I want it to work well with a trainwreck express. Does a volume pedal react like a guitar volume knob with...
