Swap the phase of the speaker coming out of one?

Great looking build Glenn

The OT phase test info would be a good addition for the FAQ section too

Re: Two Rock Classic Reverb Signature Schematic (Current Version)

Perhaps the gain structure switch may be the same one documented in this thread (although that says CLRS v3)? Repeating here: I checked inside a [Two Rock] CLRS V3, the gain structure switch is 1M/(47k/113k/80k) divider. Resistors [are] 47k,33k,33k ... It is place where the 68k/1m divider is placed ...

Re: Replacement for radio shack 273-1365

I see one recent build using the Hammond 166J6, for example, with the typical voltage doubler arrangement.

Hope this helps - good luck with your build

Yes, it’s good to trim and heat shrink them, or fix to unused terminal strip. Those you are using should be routed carefully and trimmed to the necessary length.

Re: Matamp R28 info - request for help

You’re welcome. I’m a little jealous even ;) The first tube amp I ever played was a Matamp-Orange. If you are able, and can do it safely, some decent photos showing the insides would be a good addition. Remember that lethal voltages continue in the capacitors for quite some time after power off, so ...

Re: Matamp R28 info - request for help

I’ve got a soft spot for amps from the North of England…

I *think* the R28 is similar to the V28 which you can find on the internet archive here with the magazine review and info on the company history here - notice they refer to it as an R28 at the bottom in the score.

Re: C-lator hum

Another discovery!!! When the C-lator is on, there is hum while on both standby or off standby. When the C-lator is off, the hum is much less. But when I then remove the C-lators AC mains connected to the wall outlet, there is NO HUM! Can I just check: Are you saying here that having the device mai...

Re: Colgan’s SSS without reverb

I am really curious how this build turns out.
I’ve recently discovered the Phillip Sayce amp (Mother) built by a member here, which I gather should be something like an SSS or Dumbleland with the CF (based on comments I could piece together). It sounds immense.

Please keep us posted on the results.

Re: Help with circuit

Another idea might be to build a known circuit making use of your chassis and transformers if you can identify them by part number. You’d have a good chance of a successful result. Just a thought…

Re: Help with circuit

Hi The pictures on your other thread with the amp as you bought it give a lot of context. If I understand correctly, you’re replacing the original board with this new one you are making and then want to modify it a bit. Not a bad way to learn at all, and you’ll find people here are generous in their...

Re: Two rock crs v3 clone and v1 vs v3 differences

What do you mean by the ltspice files? The ones containing the designs, but also files with the tube models, parts, transformer models. Looks like I should just make a post here on this forum with all files I use, for others to use too and hopefully improve. I for one would love this, having just g...
