R26 is 150R 3 watt resistor on the original drawing DSL5-60-02 and is connected straight after the reservoir cap.

I'm building a new amp which I want to use EL34s or 6L6s.

What is the best negative voltage to work from before the voltage divider for each

Merlins B's page has some interesting switching options for a 'standby switch' at the bottom of the page.

Its basically different values of resistors and capacitor on the 2nd gain stage cathode.

Any one know of a way of making a pre-amp tube burner to burn in say at least 10 tubes at a time more if possible.

Use shielded wire from V1 to volume pot, keep the wires pulled away from the volume pot and or use stranded wire rather than solid core here if not using shielded wire. Is the feedback resistor is the one connected to presence to 8ohm tap. Just want to make sure i correct.

Whats the best way to reduce the gain down a bit. I don't want to lose too much just a bit to make it more usable.
