Here's the direct link.

Gain of a Parallel Input
Thinking of building a standalone power amp using the parallel input 12au7 as shown on AX84 standalone power amp https://www.ax84.com/corepoweramps.html My question is how much gain the parallel input has. With my previous amp i used a half of a 12AX7 for recovery with a gain of 60, I reduced the si...

Re: V1 Microphonic.
Use shielded wire from V1 to volume pot, keep the wires pulled away from the volume pot and or use stranded wire rather than solid core here if not using shielded wire. Also a 33k to 15k grid resistor on pin 7 V1. +1 on this. Mine was howling like a banshee until i did this. I didn't have to put a ...

Which is right on Express
I was looking in trainwreck files at the layout http://ampgarage.com/forum/files/tw_express_layout_rlw_18_635.pdf and noticed it shows the switching tone caps connected to the right hand contact of VR4 but in the pic 9 in - Part 1 (42MB .zip) on this page http://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1...

Whats the best way to reduce the gain down a bit. I don't want to lose too much just a bit to make it more usable.
