Re: Pre/Post PI master?

Very cool. Has anyone here tried this PPIMV on a JTM45ish amp? Reports from the LP Forum say that it should work good if not better in non master volume amps like a JTM or Plexi BUT I put one in my Marshall 2205 head and it was out standing! So the amp had a pre-master and the Post-master, all that...

Re: Securing the chassis to a head cab

I would have to guess but the chassis must be like a JTM 45 with the out side flange where the mounting bolts are on the outer ends, not on the inside. If your chassis don't have that you may wan't to add a couple angle brackets.

Re: marshall 1959t stock 39 -----true history?

This is my best guess, seen at drtube its a JTM 100 watt Tremolo "1959T JTM100 Tremolo Super Lead, 100W head The Tremolo version was an idea of Pete Townsend but it wasn't very popular and not many were produced." Amp schematic with 4x ECC83 & 4x KT66 (Marshall). http://www.drtube.com/schematics/mar...

Express Circuit Resembles Bassman

I had a customer tip me off to this forum since I am new to the Trainwreck circuits. The amp does sound very nice from the clips I have heard hear. So trying to understand the circuit and help figure out what type of trannies to buy or mods I made a comparison of it to that of the 1964-1967 Black Fa...
