Re: To Peavey, or not to Peavey...
I agree with Andy. I did contracted work for a local shop. It's cheaper just to buy everyone a $149 bass amp and get on with your life. Fender Hotrod DeVille: problem; completely exploded like the last 27. Guy is a friend with a $70 budget. Thanks Fender Shotrod DeVil: problem; not ever again in a ...

To Peavey, or not to Peavey...
That is the question :) So for the past year or so I've been doing repairs for a local music store, selfishly so that I could try to score some deals on stuff that's been laying around, etc. I dropped off a piece and was introduced to the Peavey rep, who after chatting a bit, asks if I'd like to be ...

Re: HRM Bypass
*Edit- Just noticed it was linear taper. I was gonna replace my Level pot with this...think it'll be ok? Sure, although if you have coax soldered to the pot back you might have to redo both strands. If not, you are golden. Also, since it's a D shaft you might encounter a small issue of how the knob ...

Thought about that, but I don't know how I'd switch it...I'm using the 3 button footswitch with MIDI cable.DonMoose wrote:H'bout a relay?ToneMerc wrote:You can get new CTS push/pull solid in 1M.Structo wrote:Do they make them?

Re: HRM Bypass
My HRM has a pull/push mid pot. pull it and lifts the HRM TS. If I had known I would have preferred that setting so much, I would have put it on relay instead. TM Thanks TM, I'm glad to know you like this mod. I was also thinking about using the push/pull pot. Gotta order a damn pot, nothing in my ...

HRM Bypass
Hey guys, I've searched for this topic and I've found some posts that talk about this subject but I haven't found what I'm looking for. I seem to remember a post about a switchable HRM bypass that allowed a partial bypass or full bypass. I built a Brown Note Blue Monkey 88 and I'd like to experiment...

Re: Fender AB763 output xfmr question
Hey Coldfire, welcome to The Amp Garage! I think some of the confusion is that the Fender AB763 circuit is not just one amplifier. It can be made into other Fender amplifiers by just using a different transformer set (and some minor circuit changes). So it may be helpful to search for Fender Deluxe ...
