Hello guys,
I found a nice Power Transformer 2 x 350V 160 mA, 6,3V 5A. Can I use this PT for a Jim Kelley single channel with reverb. 4 x6V6, 4 x 12AX7 without problems. TAD says a Twin Reverb transformer would be fine for a Kelley. Is that true?
Thanks Danny.

Re: Fender Vibro King reverb problem
I found the '97 schematic. Is converting the Power Supply the only possibility to get the right Screen Grid Voltage for the 6V6 tube? Is this enough to make the 6V6 driver quiet enough?

Fender Vibro King reverb problem
My Vibro was eating EL84 tubes for breakfest so I replaced the EL84 with a 6V6. Now all 6V6 tubes I try are microphonic. i replaced the reverbtransformer also with a special 6V6 type transformer. What could be wrong here.

Thank You Martin. I go for the Hammond. Would a 310-0-310V PT bring me even closer?

Re: 4x6V6on a twin OT
So to stay close in range I have to use the 4 Ohm tab with 8 Ohm load and the 8 Ohm tab with 16 Ohm load? My plate voltage is about 450V with 4 x6L6.

Trouble with PEC pots
Just after one year PEC pots are already scratchy. Never use them again and stay with Alpha. IMO Alpha are the best at this moment.
