Re: I'm in trouble with this sound
That’s the way I’ll try tomorrow. I hope is not a failing capmartin manning wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 1:39 pm Try bypassing the standby switch. Get it out of the circuit and jump the B+ over to the choke input.
Another possibility is a failing filter cap.

Pulling out V1 ticking has low volume, leaving v1 e pulling out v2 ticking is the same. Ticking goes definitely out when I pull the Phase inverter v3

I'm in trouble with this sound
Hi ampagarage community, this is my third dumble ods clone. It works and sounds fine but after 10 minutes from power on, the amp make the sound you can hear in this video. What happens? All solder points are ok.

Considering a build, recommendations?
I’ve converted my 124 from low plate to high plate. Sounds good, even better but I hear lot of bass in OD, even while I use neck pick up on les Paul

Re: Considering a build, recommendations?
I’ve changed just now the first v1a e v1b cathode cap 10uF with 5 uF, clean are similar and more open and OD sounds fine, less gainy but good. I’ve took a look in ODS Fuchs and I’ve found 5 uF on cathode of V1a, v1b, v2a and v2b

Re: Express oscillation solved
How bad is the oscillation? As in what control settings did it occur at? Were the bright switches on? Can you have every control in the amp on 10 with no guitar plugged in? If not then a good thing to do is to move wires around to try and stop that. Things that jump out at me are...... - The bright...
