Are there some examples (schematics) of amps with processor loops so I can see how they are done and get some guidance from? The basic amp sounds very good with the processor bypassed, cut out out of the circuit, but I'm having a lot of trouble with the loop

Put a 100k resistor between the cap and the choke. Disconnect any load after the cap. Turn the amp on and measure the voltage drop across the resistor.
