The 5E3 is fine. Probably should tweak some cap values in the PI.

Does anyone know the power rating on the 10k trimmer? I have one, but it is only rated at 1/8W and I'm guessing that isn't going to cut it.

For building amps from scratch, what nuts, bolts, standoffs, etc. should a person keep around? I'm sure there are standards to have on hand that cover you so you don't have to buy specific hardware every time you do a build?

In fact, there are two unused triodes. So, I could go with two AX7's, two 6V6's, and a GZ34.

I will have an extra space for another preamp tube. What about an EF86 channel?
