To this day whenever I am installing 1/2 watt or less resistors I always confirm the value first with my ohm meter, and my eyes for being 59 are still dam good! That extra 4 seconds can end up saving you 4 hours or more of beating yourself up and possible buying a bunch of new parts that in the end...
