Re: Stained grill cloth!
Well, this 68 slant cloth is pretty stubborn. Did one OxyClean spray, it's going to need a few more to get that decades old beer stain out.

Ok, got my OxyClean spray bottle and I'll be trying this today. Fingers crossed! Thanks for the tip, Reel!Reeltarded wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 6:52 pm OXY CLEAN it works on an installed grille as well as removed.
Full strength. Misted and misted until completely damp, let dry. Repeat until appears new.

Re: Addicted to SPL
I hear you Reeltarded. Before I had my heart transplant last March, I wasn't feeling well enough to play guitar much. Fingertips got soft, dexterity was lacking, Yada yada. All of the meds made my fingers tremble and my hands had tremors. The latest med changes seem to have cured that...finally, and...

You think the Oxyclean will take out those stains without turning them too light?
I left that bottom cab there to sit on while waiting to make a shot. Trust me, I have the cabs. LOL

Re: DUMBLE Trade Mark
Yes, I was proudly told "we've returned 37 amps to their owners so far". I know Dean Parks got his back, I know Landau got something back, I'm sure many others. That's refreshing. Apparently, HAD was a procrastinator...a big one. Again, I am at limited liberty to put much information out there. I c...

Re: Is this a ghost note ?
That's called cone cry. It shows up as a weird one octave off, but slightly out of tune following note (ghost note if you will) from the one you played. It could be a bad tube, but usually it's the speaker.

First thing that pops up in a search engine https://trademarks.justia.com/763/66/dumble-76366099.html Yep, I just had to renew my trademark last week. There's a long involved story of me trying to help HAD get back his website from Andy Fuchs. Howard refused to give the website registration folks h...

Re: Shipping costs going up?
Shipping has gone up about 25% in the last six months. I shipped two speakers to Australia today, USPS calculator says $193 with $400 insured value. When I put in the label data, it came back with $202, plus a $14 surcharge to insure it for $400. you get $200 with USPS PM automatically, so that's a ...

Re: Patrick Selfridge (Mercury Magnetics)
I knew Patrick almost two decades. I just talked to him about coming to Arizona to look at properties, he would have been here later this month. According to sources that knew, he contracted a very aggressive form of lung cancer, and he was overcome by it in @ two months. We shared many a Hebrew Nat...

Re: Pearl Harbor Day, 2021
My Dad worked at the Naval Shipyard at Puget Sound, Bremerton WA from 41-46. He was an engineer for heating and air conditioning. He worked on all of the battleships raised from the mud of Pearl Harbor. I had enough stories of the aftermath to last a lifetime. But I became a Navy and WWII buff becau...

Re: Jim Kelly amp at goodwill
I spent 2.5 hours talking shop with Bob Gjika and Jim Kelley on Saturday. I have to get over to Jim's place (my house is still a cardboard box unpacking nightmare) and try out some speakers with his latest amps...same for Bob. They both have 1-2 year waiting lists right now, no no rush. Saw my first...
