You don't "have to" break in a new speaker if you play loud (30w or more) and often (3-4 hours per day). It will break in nicely after 3-4 weeks. Most players don't have the kind of time or the room to play that loud. I do break in for two reasons, it weeks out any potential failures in 24 hours (us...

Sad case of clients having expectations you can't control without a written agreement. I'd get the amp back, see what the "new issue" is, and decide what to charge him from there. You're not running a charity, and he thinks you are.

If it is that stuborn get a super soft art brush and a shop vac. Spray wet barely touch it to scrub then suck the goo off. You know, just be careful scrubbing. Anything stiff will change the texture of the weave. I guess a 1" soft bristle brush (like what I use to put doping on speakers) might be t...
