Re: Thinking Through Sourcing PT/OT for D-Lite-ish Build
Find yourself a Crate Turbo Valve 50 or 60 watt from the 90s perfect donor mine came out fantastic you could either use 6L6 or El34 it even had an auto bias feature! You can pick a complete donor for around 200.00! Perfectly good cheap American made Iron

Re: dechiphering an output transformer

I have a question I have decided I want to build this particular layout it has a reverb in it! I know I will have to change some resistors because I want to run a pair of 6L6s what all will I have to change and what B+ voltages will I have to modify in the power supply? Re: Capacitor cocktail - types, locations
I know 715 and 716 series caps are the standard for most of the coupling but did anyone ever build a Dumble using inexpensive Chinese polypropylene or Polyester caps? Just curious if anyone ever did like those small brown epoxy coated polypropylene films??

This tone is amazing... Taylor did a fantastic job what are you using for the overdrive?? I know the amp has a master vol..?? Some kind of a boost or pedal?? I mean I understand the normal ODS style Dumbles with the extra gain stage. This looks different for sure? https://youtu.be/RnA0cHdkyHc

So this does have an overdrive in it?? What type of components carbon film or metal film resistors? Cap choices? Reverb pan typical fender twin style? I see it does not have channel switching? It would be cool if it had channel switching might give this one a build. The tone is amazing Taylor you di...

Re: Robben Ford's new amp and speaker
Sounds like he's running his guitar signal through a Pixelator??? Whoaa?? I guess he got bored with his old Dumble and decided to try and " fit in" with his new life in Nashville scene? Well, he probably figures at his age he only has to please himself musically.. I get that..
