Re: Robben Ford's new amp and speaker
Looks like an old Bassman tube rectifier... Its all in the hands and head... Maybe he wanted to go back to his roots full circle?? I personally don't like the sound of 10" speakers not enough bottom for my taste I mean I owned a Peavey Delta Blues 210 years ago it sounded OK with the Les Paul but mu...

Re: Normster's 6V6 ODS layout
Why did Norm use. 022 coupling caps in his 6v6 reverb amp 22 instead of the typical. 1 mfd? Bass response maybe?

Re: need more (negative) bias voltage
Here is great way to build a negative bias supply using minimal parts that is safe stable and can be made fully adjustable and its one up design from Marshalls with having no bias windings available picking off of hv windings make the cap. 05 is class x even if cap fails bias will save your tubes! T...

This circuit I am leaning towards though more precision and you can use unbalanced sets of tubes and have optimal biasing thanks Rob Robinette for this one wherever you are

Re: Brown Note D'Lite 44 Schematic ??
I'm using an old Crate 60 watt iron from an old turbo valve from 1997 here is a autobias circuit that looks pretty promising I think I will try this auto bias circuit it was designed to power either set of power tubes 6l6 or EL34s
