Re: New Express project(s)
Hey, the Bud chassis is a AC-425 and the bottom plates are the BPA-1520. As far as I know the bottom plates are still available from different vendors. The chassis are tough to get though. I was lucky to buy several back when you could still find them. The AC-412 looks to be the correct length and w...

I'm still a fan of classic cherry, and if you are after something with more figure or flame, curly cherry.

Re: Some voltage readings of my original 1989 Express...
I thought I'd take a few voltage readings of my 1989 Express that many here are familiar with via my CD and/or Youtube videos. This sort of data is nothing new here, but I thought folks might want to see what's up number wise with this particular original Ken Fischer built Express. I took voltage r...

Re: New Express project(s)
Got the chassis finished and test fit the faceplate and cabinet as well as bolting up the transformers. I should get started building soon, possibly tomorrow. I'm pretty stoked and looking forward getting the first one done. http://ampgarage.com/forum/download/file.php?mode=view&id=66931 http://ampg...

Re: TW Prudence question
I don't know of Prudence having an on board attenuator but could be wrong. I understand that amp belongs to John Mark who now builds for Trainwreck. I believe it was loaned to Matt for some videos.

Re: Nuke Schematic
Very interesting story behind the amp. It was not my favorite tone, although I don't think the single coils in the strat showed the extent of the amps potential. It sounded to me as though the amp may need some attention.

Re: New Express project(s)
The boards in the linked thread should be .092 perfs on roughly .260 centers so are probably just what you are after. I have some of that board material and original clips so will probably do some building with the later used materials in the future. It is curious that KF didn't use turrets with thi...
