Re: 2xel84 rocket
Hello All, I've been out of the game for a while raising my twins... But am itching to build an 18W Rocket! I've searched and can't find what I'm looking for... Could someone direct me to a layout/schematic for the 2XEL84 Rocket with no choke and SS rectifier? Any help would be much appreciated! Bes...

I would suggest giving it some time. It doesn't look like Dana has been on this forum in a while. His last post was in May. You might try PM'ing him through this forum instead. Look up "UR12" in the search engine under author search. Good luck. Steve PS or like myself he may have moved on to other t...

Re: Help with ODS Board dimensions
Bob, I was reading through your post about the tubes up version you built last year... There are no photos in the thread. Did you pull them? Are they located somewhere else so that I could take a look? I'll PM you my email if you could email them to me. I'm interested in possibly doing a build orien...

ODS boards
Thanks for the response. I think I finally have everything I need from some thorough searching... I realize that I'll probably have to design my own... I got spoiled over on the other side (TW) with all the templates and drill guides, etc... I do not have a chassis yet, but I'll either buy a blank a...

Help with ODS Board dimensions
Hello All, I haven't visited in a long while, but I've been asked to build an ODS for someone. I was wondering whether or not there is one location where all the dimensions and or traces for the boards are located? I know jborders sells a set, but it looks like he may be out of stock before I can pu...

Re: I wanna buy an Express clone.
Thanks Mark, It sounds fantastic and the VVR works great. I've floated it around locally for a few months to various guitarists in my area. Everyone loves it, but no one has the funds right now. Big surprise, right? I posted it for sale back in the spring, but no interest... So I figured I'd try aga...

Recent Clips of this Amp
Dorrisant, I hadn't considered the addition of another gain stage (to simulate the PI) at the time I built the amp. I wanted a really clean chimey practice amp/small gig amp that would get a little bite when you dug in... Ironically, the owner just recently contacted me to tell me that he put a Cele...

Drilling and Machining Aluminum
@ Cliff, I don't believe that getting the long curly shavings is ideal. That usually means the cutting edge is dragging or scraping which means *heat*. You always want chips. Chips (generally) means you're cutting the aluminum instead of scraping it. And chips means the cutting tool and the aluminum...
