Re: Mercury Mag AC cable?
Clyde, come on over. 8) Like I said, everything the nay sayers are saying here is me one week ago. I also used to say the same thing about Mullard single getter XF2 EL34s and Holland Amperex 12AX7s in an Express, or Saratov EL84s in a Rocket. The comment that the cord would make a difference in a p...

Re: Mercury Mag AC cable?
If I were to come to your house and change out the cord without you knowing which one was in circuit, I'd guarantee that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I'd even put ten bucks on it.

Re: Resonance , its not just for breakfast anymore ....
I don't mind being your scapegoat P. I ask for evidence and you produce what? That's right, nada. The things you say about Tesla are total bullshit, the videos you post are the same and you want everyone to believe that your resonance theories are, unlike most of the the other things you believe, ba...

Re: Resonance , its not just for breakfast anymore ....
Plexified, the only one embarrassing himself here is you. As I stated before, show me one of those contraptions generating power anywhere. If one does exist in Tesla's home village, wouldn't they be crowing about it? There is no reference anywhere to it on any site featuring this place. Tesla figure...

Re: Resonance , its not just for breakfast anymore ....
Actually they produce that unit in asia and deliver them to towns off the power grid all over the world . Just helping out the less fortunate around the world . It was what Tesla wanted his work to accomplish . The first units where delivered in Teslas home town where there are no power lines . eac...

One G12H30 with a V30 or two G12H's would be preferable for myself.

Re: Express Capacitor Choice
Has anyone ever done a blind test to really try and differentiate the difference between caps? I know it's easy to hear things when you know what you're listening to and rely on general internet knowledge of what people say things sound like, but have you really listened with your ears only? Just wo...

Re: Classic-Tone Transformers fo AC30
2 years ago or so we did a blind test comparing 4 AC30 OPT's. I clipped them in and out and a friend played while another listened. We used 2 MM's, an Edcor and a Mojo. After several rounds of going back and forth to familiarize ourselves with the tone, everyone picked the MM's as the best-sounding....

Re: Z-Wreck Comfort / Speed Switch
Yes that's exactly what it is. As the amp is cathode-biased it doesn't need any adjustment. As long as it doesn't over-dissipate on the higher voltage setting, it's good.
