Building a 102 from scratch I have a beefy power transformer reading bout 398 vac no load . It has about 7 amps for heaters and a negative bias supply winding of 60volts so should we be good shape ? Or will I have to make power supply adjustments for being about 50 volts higher than normal for the h...

The 183 is an EL34 based amplifier? They used 6L6 in the VHT ? So they took out the nasal mid 34s and put the 6L6s in did they revoice tonestack anywhere compared to the original183? I might pick up this one it's 600.00 it brand new a return and has static on drive channel . I will start with replac...

So did VHT actually base this on a 102 or a 183? I was considering buying for a mod ?

I have often wondered where this schematic came from ? I wonder how it sounds? Doesn't totally seem to be a dumble ? Does anyone know anything about it? I had this schematic for years wasn't sure if it was worth the build or not?

Thanks Gary! You wouldn't happen to have the layout would you? I always read that Carltons amplifier was a Megaplex? But, I am pretty sure his amp has 6l6s in it ? I wonder what amplifier type his black 90s amp was ? I believe that was his number one? He also had his tan ? I always loved his 90s ton...

The first D Clone layout the first one is there a power supply layout or schematic available or what
Power supply do you recommend?
