Re: Pics from RF show last night
Actually I think that Chorus is a new SCH-Z. Modded with a real switch for True ByPass. Robbens board changed after he started playing with Landau. Landau has been using that old Chorus as a "fake-Leslie" for decades.

When you talk about tubes, GEs or RCAs Long Plate, you mean V1 or V2 or both?

Re: The very best EU transformers for a 124 ODS?
Erwin has played my #102 more than I have as I got it yesterday. I bought Twin Reverb PT and OT from TAD. HUGE PT, lots of iron. Sounds good to me and Erwin seems to like them. I'm not sure all are but TAD sells Mojo and Heyboer makes the Mojo trannies so...

Re: 100W #102 clone
Picked up the amp yesterday. Only had about 20min to play it at home (kid going to bed w a 100W in the next room is not such a good idea) Holy smokes! Stayed in the clean channel and it's ohhh so good!! Very even and "natural" sounding. Extremely pleasant sound. I probably played ALOT louder than I ...

Re: 100W #102 clone
Thanks. We will see what happens. Aspen tries to find another set to match one of the duets I have.
Can't I use one tube from each set on either side? One 41 and one 26 on each side?
I think they were rated at #4 on the GT scale

Re: 100W #102 clone
Big thanks to Erwin for helping me out with this amp. I needed help and although he's in the Netherlans and I'm in Sweden he said ok. I got photos throughout the process which was very straight forward. You probably see this as a lesser amp as it says Ceriatone. I don't care. I got a stripped down p...

Re: Single Coils/Dumble's
I have the same experience w Dumble-style amps, and with the Zendrive pedal - I love them both w humbuckers or Teles noot w Strats. Strats in a BF Fenders is a wonderful thing but not w a Dumble, even if the clean tone is close.

Why not a JTM45 combo with a single 12", maybe a Celestion Gold or something. I love 45's!

Re: About Moss of Brown Note
How come he still accepts payments if he's 2 year behind. Remember when Hermida or Cochrane stopped taking orders (and payments) to catch up building their popular pedals? If Moss takes your order and money, says a couple of months and no amps has showed up in 2 years he's in big trouble. Maybe he n...
