Re: Overdrive Reverb/Steel String Singer Hybrid
I didn't really like the filters on a couple of other amps I built. Too lossy and really I only used 1 setting on the high filter.
I hard wire this low pass filter setting in most of my amps.

Re: Overdrive Reverb/Steel String Singer Hybrid
Very nice work! This is basically what my El Patron amp is. Are the grid leaks on the output tubes really 47K? I normally see 470K resistors there.

Re: Working with suede
Yes, it has one seam at the bottom. It works on heads but not so much on cabs, the hides aren't long enough.rootz wrote: ↑Fri Jun 30, 2023 9:24 amIs that one piece of suede? Absolutely lovely job.txbluesboy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2023 3:34 pm Here is one of mine. After you get used to it, It's not to difficult. It does require very sharp blades, however.

Marshall three button footswitch connector
I use the three button footswitch on some of my builds.
I ran out of the chassis mount receptacles and can't remember where I got them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Has it ever been determined exactly what values are used in the Dumbleland tone stack?
More specifically potentiometer values?

Re: PT for a quad of KT 88's
After looking closer at the Classictone project PT, I see it has 10 amps of filament power. This is probably where most of my heating problems are coming from on the Fender PT with only about a 6 amp capacity. There are a lot of possibilities for selection of higher B+ voltages as well. This looks l...

Re: PT for a quad of KT 88's
Jelle, I see the 100 watt PT Classistone has but nothing larger. Is there a part number I'm missing?
I currently have the amp up and running with a 100 watt Fender PT, however, It gets REALLY hot when using
KT 88's. I am having to us KT 66's presently.
