Re: AN Wonderland/JM 100w layout

I cant find a 213k 1 or 1/watt resistor. V1 pin 7. Mouser has rn60c and rn70c 1/8 watt but they are out of stock. 7 weeks till restock. Can I just use a 1w 220k or an RN65c 221? Is the 1k5 resistor on the bass pot an rn65c or a carbon film? I can not find 6PS caps in .047,.0047,.001. I will be using...

Re: AN Wonderland/JM 100w layout

I am looking at the layout for this amp and I have a question about the ground points. I put the jumper in between the - side of the first 220uf and the + side of the second one. Those 2 and the first 20uf ground to the transformer grounds at the tab by V9. The second 20uf says to ground at Send/Rec...

Replacing the FET input with a switched pot.

I read a post about replacing the FET input with a switched pot but I can't find it again.
Can anyone post a link?

Re: #102 Robben Ford Amp

Here's a variation on the #102 layout that I created and used with my amp build. It works with the CE chassis and Showman / Twin transformers, uses the precision power supply, adds a LNFB switch and incorporates a treble reduction network on the switching jacks of the loop. Hopefully it will be hel...

Pawn shop find.

I found an audio oscillator in a pawn shop.
TS-382 c/u
115v/60-1600 cps
US Govt. from around 1958
It looks like new inside.
5y3
0a5
6sj7s metal
1 6v6 metal
What is it worth?
Is this a useful device or should I gut it for parts?

Re: Do not order from Wattstubeaudio

If you guys are looking for custom chassis' I found this guy at ebay (wife did actually) who will custom make a chassis for you as you design it. with some max size limits, but it's pretty big. He'll even do cutouts etc for additional fee. I dug it. He doesn't spot weld the corners, if that's a pro...

Re: Power transformer with 2 6v taps.

Thank you.
That looks like it will work.

The one I got from Brandon was a little different.
It had an orange hum reduction wire.
The primary 6v lines were yellow and huge.
The secondary 6v lines were green.

Power transformer with 2 6v taps.

I purchased 2 transformer sets from Brandon when he was selling chassis and transformers.
His PT was a Twin transformer with a second 6v tap from Heyboer.
I would like to buy a few more.
Does anyone know the Heyboer number?

I received a reply from CEdist on a question about the 600 volt polyester caps they sell.
They are 418p.
