Are you running your amp as a head or a combo?

Re: Another soldering station recommendation
After receiving and using it I can say it's the best station I have used. Heats up fast, recovers very fast and is a quality piece through and through. The base station is hefty and feels solid. Thanks! Yes, it is quiet. I was a little worried having the power supply so close to the audio signal but everything seems to be fine.

D'lator in a 7" x 5" x 3" box + Thanks
Just thought I would post a picture of my take on a Dumbleator and say thanks to you guys for all the information that you've made available through this forum. The build was inspired by Heisthl's http://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4748 The circuit that I used was based on http://ampgarage.c...

Re: Power amp essentials?
The problem I see is unless you play in PAB mode a lot, why would you tune the PI to bloom or feedback in PAB? I would rather have the amp bloom and flip in normal OD mode which for me is Rock switch on and OD slightly louder than Clean. My point was to try to at least see if I could get it to happ...

Re: Power amp essentials?
Dear Greiswig I suppose I'm trying to find out under what conditions does this blooming occur? Surely if it can be done by ear, it can be done with test experiment? What new production tubes work in the PI stage of a Dumble amp? Where do you get 12AX7 with matched triodes? My observations are that ...

Re: HRM Printed Circuit Board Set
Thanks, these boards will come in very handy! At present, I'm more of a lurker than a participant.
I'm at the early stages of planning on building a 100W Bluesmaster, a BOM is slowly coming together. These boards will definitely help me finalize some of my plans.
