Re: Has anyone tried the Roland Blues Cube with the Robben Ford?

In a interview from around march 2016, Robben likes the "Palladium" pedal. I saw another youtube interview in which he states, that he sold the large pedalboard, that he used a couple of years ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sS0wfdj3DiQ Sounds like it all comes down to portability. Finding gear...

True, but IME like on dumble amp, it makes it so much easier to dial in the bass.

Re: Ten months on the attack site list for TAG

The members want to keep the site going, they will take it over and host it, please ask Allyn if he will let them, we all want TAG to continue. Please Allyn let it go to those that care rather than us go over and over the same old shit month after month. Low traffic? No new members? It's only us cr...

Re: Quieten the Express

...For David and those who may have been curious ... Last weekend I came into a 12aY7, and was a pretty skeptical as the gain on this tube is 44 vs. the aT7 at 60-61% (and of course the ax7 being 100%). Its a good one, old stock GE so I ran it in the PI for about a half hour. Well, its still in the...

On all the power tubes you need to jump the socket pins with a lenght of wire back to the board traces or you the amp will be cutting out and or burning up on the guy in short order!

Re: Sebago Double Trouble Layout/Schematic

Thanks for the pics Gary, I've made a list and have begun trawling the internet for a decent scope - local prices are pretty steep for something like an old tektronik or similar - and maybe a HP 5385 freq counter. Thanks.

He seems to be an honest, down to earth kind of guy with exceptional skills within his area of competence .... That's the way every man should be.

Re: Prefect Stratocaster with Dumble!!?

"The Lucky Peterson signature model is our take on a classic American style blues sound. While it's tone stack is inspired by a more traditional black face circuit - a departure from our more 'Dumblesque' models, the overdrive section is taken from our '183' model. Cap this off with 6L6GC output po...

Yeah, and Leo Fender got it from a Western Electric manual. So, he didn't invent it either. 8)

Re: Sub harmonics?

Recently I had bad sub-harmonic on my 5f6a, 1x12" with 6v6. I turned out that the 6v6 harmans were a bad match. Swopping to a set of matched JJ6v6's made the unpleasant sub-harmonics go away. So to answer your question: Yes, producing lower than guitar freq's sub harmonics was/were possible. However...
