I don't follow on the Hiraga, mono right?, what's the application? Through-hole PCB is about my speed for assembly, lol! The Hiraga is dual Mono => Stereo and application is for driving the L810s to sonic nirvana. The Computer Audiophile server with the special (SOtM USB EXP) USB-card is IMO better...

A small pot (eg. 10k) in series with the feedback resistor, gives a nice "loudness control" for low level playing.
