Re: Ten months on the attack site list for TAG
Hey Guys, As the original owner of this site, it's sad to see this issue still continue. I tried to contact Allynmey hoping to see if I could take back the site and resolve the issue but never heard anything back. That's been a couple of months back. There are a lot of great people on this forum who...

Re: ****Site Problems Update****
Making things a little tougher is that Omar's original database password was forgotten by him and is making it more difficult to upgrade to the newer version. I'm working with Omar and a PHP engineer to try to get the site updated in the near future. I feel really bad about this but I dug ar...

Looks nice. Who's did the finish?JoeCon wrote:Mikey
You're the guy to finish that guitar for sure!! I'm with you, a single cut junior is just what I want.
Here's what a local guy does with them, you buy the kit and he finishes them for you. Looks like this...

Re: Guitar Building Kit
Headstock angle is 14 instead of 17 degrees. The headstock is made from a single piece of mahogany and doesn't have the Gibson 'wings'. On the Precision 59 model, I'm guessing the carve is not vintage accurate. Maybe some other things but thats all I know.

Re: Bulldog Go to the My Les Paul Forum and search for Bulldog. Lots of problems - neck fitting issues, neck angle, tops splitting, quality issues, etc. I have a Bulldog that a friend and I put together. In the end the guitar ended up being better then any Historic I've played but we had a number of...

Actually it's "Maximo Audio" named after my oldest son. I wanted to name him Maximo but my wife thought it sounded like a mob guy's name so his full name is Maxwell.Structo wrote:Very cool Omar!

My amp made it in a music video!
A local player who has been using my amps just released a video with his new band and you can see my amp if you pause it at 0:44.
Cool song!

Can't believe it's been 8 years! Time flies when you're having fun! :D Thanks everyone for the kind words. When I started this forum, I simply wanted to have a community for amp builders to share ideas specifically about Trainwrecks. But it has certainly grown into something better then I could have...

Re: SRV SLO-100
Wow, that's awesome. What does it sound like? Did it actually replicate his tone? No, I wouldn't say it replicates his tone. It gives the clean channel a more usable, Fender-ish sound, but it's still pretty different from any Fender I've played. The mod, with its scooped mids, just gives the SLO a ...

Re: SRV SLO-100
Yes, it's definately true. The SRV SLO was in Mike's shop when I worked there in 1992. It had a switch on the back that only worked on the clean channel. I have the same mod on my SLO but mine can be activated on both channels. I prefer the SLO with the SRV mod activated.

Re: Amp Garage and safety issues
that disclaimer looks like it covers you as the "forum" ..... but not me as the post'ee..... True, but I also think the line about tube amps containing high voltages that can be lethal is also a deterrent (or at least it should be to any sensible person). Maybe a member here is a lawyer and can hel...

Observe all electrical safety procedures when working on tube amps. The opinions...
