If you secure a stiff brace to both front and back panels, tying them together, it will limit panel vibrations. They want to move in opposite directions in a closed back cab. Of course most center posts are only secured to the baffle, so they are not as effective

Where can I buy a VVR kit? I went to Hall Amplification but no response to emails

The Rocket is an AC30 stripped down to just its Top Boost channel with a couple of Ken's tweaks. It's like the ultimate AC30 and really suits an open-back cabinet with a pair of Golds. what tweaks are they? It looks like more filtering in the PS? Anything else? VOltages? I guess a different/ higher...

Has anyone ever described in one place the sound of the different versions/generations of Dumble circuits?

If not, anyone want to give it a shot?

Did you try taping a heavy felt disc to the Sholtz dustcap?

I had both TT Ceramic and C-Rex. The TT was a bit bright surprisingly.
I liked the C-rex better and they are cheaper.

TT gone, still have 2 c-rex

Brandon, I seem to remember you saying these were optimized for el34 use (load on power tubes)

Don't know about UL in the Dumble circuit, but I have an Alessandro that uses similar Xformer in UL mode and the result is quite musical
