Tom,
Best wishes for your quick recovery.
You can do it. It takes time, sometimes.

Hi Donzoid. I'm in a similar situation. 62 years old, software developer for the last 35 years. Came back to work from open heart surgery, and a couple of months later, was laid off with the rest of the company. Seems developers in the Ukraine will work for 2 rubles and a bowl of fish eye soup a day...

Re: swiss cheese front panel question
Thanks. Phil The old amp ( "66 ?) had a brass plate inside, the chassis. and the faceplate. I have turned a lot of possible fixes over in my head and hadn't come up with a "good" way to do this. The "3" I came up with was filling the existing holes with JB Weld and grinding it flat before drilling n...

swiss cheese front panel question
I'm preparing to build some version of a D*mble in a donor Bassman chassis. It has an added hole in the front for a master pot, I think. I do not plan to use the original faceplate. So my question to you is: in this situation do I 1. drill new holes in the chassis front and just let a faceplate cove...

Re: Seven Lessons from How Private Equity Wrecked Guitar Center
My local mom & pop shut down 3/4 of his store, moved what was left ( mostly for the local salsa bands anyway ) into the remaining 1/4 space, and leased the 3/4 to a "medical grow" enterprise. He makes more that way, I guess, per square foot...

Re: Open heart surgery Wednesday...
thanks for checking on me. Chest is doing good at 7 weeks. Main irritation is sensation at clothing, anything else brushing my chest, now the nerves are coming back. But the damage done by brachial plexus pinch has my right arm/hand all FUBAR. Basically useless. Worse, 'cause the random pain stabs a...

They pinched a nerve bundle in my right hand and arm.
typing is excruciating.
P/T & cardiac P/T looming.
a pinprick compared to what some of our troops are going through.
All in all a success...
Thanks to all for the support.
Hopefully back to old self soon.

Thank you, Tom.
I was unclear.
The surgery is 10/7/2015.
At an ungodly hour of the morning, too.
Why do they always want to schedule procedures
for 0dark30?
