Glen,
Awesome amp, axe, and playing.
Next time , may I suggest a plain green or royal blue tee-shirt. Then, you'll be able to "blue screen it" like the weather maps on T.V.
You'll be able to make it any color that you want, including tie-dyed.

Re: Musicman RD50 mods - done!
Thanks!
I'm a bit yellow for the full jump, also.
If I can help getting that hum in line by measuring anything on my stock amp, please let me know. I can follow directions pretty well. I'm just a not as advanced as some of the others here.

Re: Musicman RD50 mods - done!
Sorry to go OT but I have a RD-50 that I bought new in 1980. I've never been in love with the limiter channel's sound. It comes off as muddy. Do you like the mod that you performed? I looked also at heistal's more severe mods. I might have to go that way. However, I preferr to keep my reverb. LeeMo

You could also do a Tweed Vibrolux 5E11 without the Tremolo (er, vibe).

Re: MusicMan RD-50 to CLone project
heisthl, Keep it up ,Buddy. I have a MM RD-50 that I bought new in 1980-81. I just hate to gut it and start over. I'd rather keep it and build from scratch, but boy are you tempting me. Then , someone asked about a Fender Bassman Ten conversion. I have one of those sitting next to my RD-50. Same pro...
