Re: A few more D'Lite questions
The D'Lite 22 is made to run 6V6's with it's 8K pri OT. The D44 can run either 6V6 or 6L6's with it's OT, since it has the dual primary windings of 4.4K and 8K. I believe you can run the 6L6 power tubes on the 22 but you have to half the impedance values on the switch when you do it, ie. 4 8 16 beco...

Re: Two new/old sets of tubes
Yeah, my cousin scouts out old Hammond gear at thrift stores and garage sales. He's told me that on more than one occasion he buys an organ or other tube driven piece then strips it right there at the store! Then he tells them they can keep the rest.... Right or wrong he has gotten some nice...

Re: check for me these trannies please...
That PT is monstrous! 500mA!
On the OT not sure, but on my D'Lite 44 I have one with 8K for 6V6 and 4.4K for the 6L6's.
Mind you that this is a two power tube amp (44 watts) so I'm not sure what the specs are for four power tubes (four power tubes).

Re: d'lite transformer options
I'm currently building a D'Lite 44 and it came with an VIBRO HTS-8816EX OT that has 4.4K and an 8K secondaries. I believe they are wound by Heyboer. So I can run 6V6's or 6L6's plus EL34's if I want. I installed a DPDT switch that will allow me to switch between those two secondaries with a simple r...

You really think he was that far off.
Sure he was trying to put it in lay terms but why is it most of us have gravitated back to vacuum tubes.
Surely it has something to do with complex harmonics.

I think the value is 56R for the PS resistor, that is with two relays and non-regulated supply.

Re: Doo-doo-doo...lookin' out my back door
The thing I noticed about Sedona was that it was pretty upscale.
Even the Burger King was done in a pueblo red stucco!
We just passed through but did go see the chapel of the holy cross.
Sedona seemed like a real artsy community.

OK, that was my first thought, but how does that relate to the hookup?
IOW, what lug on the pots would CCW be?
Any thought on the quenching diodes?

Nice shots!
Sedona, AZ I presume.
Red Rock country.
The wife and I honeymooned in AZ back in '99.
She had never seen the Grand Canyon so we went there, then all the way down to Tombstone.
Beautiful state, in the Springtime.......too darn hot in the Summer!
