Re: Grid Load resistor / Phase inverter Resistors sizes.
4M7 works fine but you'll get slightly less loading (more highs and lows) on the pu's
4M7 is also nice in 5ExA circuits as 2nd stage neg.feedback-resistor
etc.

Re: 5e3 speaker
Didn't try that one in a 5E3 (I really like the Celestion Alnico Blue for those amps if loudness is required; for slightly less dB and a slightly warmer sound: get the C12N clone from WGS) but..... Did try the ET65 in a '67 bf DR: kinda like the old/stock Oxford but without farting; my personal choi...

Re: Borderline Tremolo
It must be a VibroChamp cathode-bias-wobble trem if it's going to pin 3 of V1a but on the 1st stage io. the 2nd stage. Different cap-values and power-supply-nodes......

Re: EJ Reveals All!
Geez...when I watched the video I loved his clean chorusy-delayed tone. When He switches to the "violin" tone, IMHO the high strings sound good-nice and thick- but the low strings are total mud...no"string"tone to them at all. Considering all that great gear he has,and his chops, I expected more. E...

Re: #124 Output Transformer
don't mind* the "mismatching"; it's all about sound and touch-respsonse. Most of the time I also prefer mismatching sf OTs.

Re: Why 3K3 value chosen for bias supply resistor?
stock bf biasing is cool/cold
besides the resistor before the diode the bias-pot and resistors over there do also have an impact on the biasvoltage
