Vox AC30 chassis

Does anyone have any sources for the AC30 chassis. I know that Weber makes a similar one, but I would like one more "authentic"

Re: OT with 4, 8 16 tap...

Ok, lets try this. I've attached the schematic for the transformer you mentioned. They are basically showing you the possible combinations of loads you can use. I also added a modded picture to show and explain the loads. If you put a 4 ohm speaker on the Common(0 w) and 4 ohm tap, you will reflect ...

Re: OT with 4, 8 16 tap...

What do you mean respectively? If you load the 4 ohm tap with a 4 ohm load, the resulting primary should be the same as loading the 16 ohm tap with a 16 ohm load. How are you measuring the impedance ?

I bought 5 different type of boards from him several weeks ago and all were fantastic. Very quick shipping also (he does state that orders are usually filled within 5-7 days)

Re: Home grown PTFE wire stripper...

Hey, whatever works. I'll have to try your method. That reminds me of an old gun I had and couldn't afford tips so I made them out of 12ga copper wire. It worked great and was very cheap.

Re: is this done right
Angelo, It doesn't really matter whether the switch or the fuse is on the neutral or the hot wire, or one on each, per the original. Turning off the switch or blowing a fuse opens the power line as designed. ampdoc
It really DOES matter if the neutral is fused. If by chance,...

Re: is this done right

Actually Not. The workmanship looks fine. 1 -The white should be removed from the fuseholder. 2 -The other 2 wires should be removed from the fuse holder. 3 -Tie the white and 2 wires together, solder and crimp or wirenut the connection. 4 -Remove black power feed wire from switch and solder to fuse...
