Re: Layout/Circuit board design
Actually this thread is a tremendous help already. I'm certainly not looking for a checklist kind of answer, just more of a general idea of what to leave look at and read, and the references in this thread or helping already, thank you. As to the external combustion engine with troll...that's hilari...

Re: Layout/Circuit board design
Xtian, thank you. I guess what I'm asking is what are the design principles used to lay out the original circuitboard for a Fender champ, for example. I should have perhaps omitted the word "layout" from my original post as that's not specifically what I'm asking about at this point- i'm more intere...

Layout/Circuit board design
Hello venerable gentlemen (and ladies?) of the electron, Disclaimer: Though I probably have enough experience with a soldering iron to be considered just barely out of the "noob" phase, I have no formal electronics training and therefore everything I've learned has been a result of hundreds of hours...

BN Blue Monkey 88 Kit docs
As promised-
Please let me know if I am violating any protocols of the forum by posting this. FWIW, these are the docs I received with my kit four or five years ago. Apologies for the coffee stains and handwriting on the BOM- I didn't think copies would be hard to come by back then.
Best,
QT

D'lite Blue Monkey 88 docs
Hey gents, I was looking through my old papers the other day and I discovered that I still have the Brown Note Bluesmaster 88 kit BOM and layouts (w/wo relays). I was one of the lucky ones that got a kit from Brown back in the day right before they went "under", though it was a very difficult proces...

Re: Tweedle Dee - another latecomer
Wow, that's a lot of information to chew on. Seems like some great modifications. I hope you don't mind but I'm making some notes on my tweed deluxe schematic and layout that I have here. Also curious about the multi tone stack switch you're describing for and ODS type- are you envisioning something...

Re: Tweedle Dee - another latecomer
I'm very interested in doing a ground-up 5e3 in this style as my next build (last build was about four years ago- ouch!) I like where this thread is going, please continue.
