Jeremy “Germ” Ledford passed away yesterday.

Guys and Gals, Many of you hopefully had some interaction with Jeremy here on TAG. Sadly, yesterday, he had a massive heart attack and didn’t make it to the ER. He was only about 45. A friend of Jeremy and Robin’s (his wife) set up a GoFundMe Campaign to help Robin out. She told me last night that S...

And as for the pilot light, I have many to sell. And original speaker impedance selector switches.

Mark Abbott,

Please send me details on this fast vintage switch thing. Love my Express, but it’s a beast,

Are you getting a booth for the Dallas show? What’s your company name? I go pretty much every year, so I’d love to see it in person!

Ordered one too, this is perfect for the shop in lieu of pulling out the Tektronix for simple gain stage troubleshooting.

I believe his user name was simply David Root.

What a bummer, I really hate seeing the loss of great members to this group.

Re: selecting / ordering the transformers for Rocket & Express

Heyboer made me a multi voltage Express PT that worked great. I made this amp for a mate in the U.K, but needed US mains to be able to test it before shipping it. I don't remember the price, but it was very reasonable. I think Phil at Heyboer will know what you want.

Re: Cabinet Finish

Use a 1/4" round off Router bit with a Bering roller to take off those square edges, otherwise, looks great.

Re: Express build bias - strange outcome

Yes as per that Modded bassman, that's exactly what I wanted to do, although I don't have the other resistor after it going to ground. You may want to put a resistor between the pot and ground before you burn something expensive. That resistor prevents you from adjusting the bias voltage to zero, w...
