Re: Progress report on D'Lite chassis
Hey everybody, The D’Lite chassis are in production, transformers are right behind them so it’s time to take pre-orders. This is a big project, and I have a lot of parts to order. My goal is to raise sufficient funds to place large enough orders to avoid a split run. If enough people order the kits ...

Re: Progress report on D'Lite chassis
The votes in the BN forum, don't show it but the tally from emails and other forums, so far it's a split leaning toward tubes down....it's still undecided. As far as the layout, for people used to fender, that are going with tubes down, the controls will go from left to right. For tubes up marshall ...

Re: Smaller size Dumble chassis?
Good point, for the combo cab we're thinking of the traditional tubes point down style and an appropriate faceplate set.Zippy wrote:Tubes point up with a combo cab? Do you already have a sample configuration of that?

The New D-Lite Kit
OK everybody, Here's what Norm and I are thinking regarding the D-Lite Kit I'm planning on doing a production run of chassis. All folded sides, integrated mounting hardware, fully punched .080 aluminum, black powder coat, white silk-screening, no logos, tubes point up...high quality. $60 Many people...

Re: Smaller size Dumble chassis?
We're looking at roughly the same structure as the brownnote 18 watt kits;
Full kit, major components, transformers, head cab, ala carte or package deal.

I've just finished a couple of hours of knob twiddling, bias fidgiting, and trim pot tweaking with this amp, and I am very happy with the tone I'm getting...happy is an understatement. Here's the thing...I'm running Bendix 5992 / 6V6. Plate voltage is 450 / bais 20mA, I don't know what other 6V6's b...
