I think some folks may have missed that he's also using an OD pedal in that demo, at least it's in the heading anyway.

Hi, I only used the Abunai2 pedal at the very end of the vid, the last little 10 sec lick.

What counts is what he records with in the studio.

Live is a difference world were money, logistics, risk of losing equipment, venue, contracts and plain common sense dictate what you play with.
The same could definitely be said about recording.

On robbenford.com The Live From Italy "Prison Of Love" vid sounds pretty damn good to me. Looks like Red knobs or some type of Twin variation...the vid audio quality is a little squirrely but you can get the idea.

Jack Z has a PDF of the changes at ceriatoneforum.com I did all the changes in red except I left the Power Supply caps & resistor as is. I also used a 220k resistor instead of t...

Interesting. It's good to come to decisions. Is the clean channel & clean channel with boost vastly different between a non HRM amp & HRM amp?

Re: HRM layout question...

you would lose too much gain, even if the tone didn't suffer there wouldn't be enough gain to compete with the clean sound. The non-HRM gets loaded to ground via the 100K level(ratio) pot and the 150k resistor feeding it. Even at level full on if you parallel the HRM tone stack to the level(ratio) ...
