It may not be a volume pot issue at all.
I'd go through the updates and then see what happens.

Looked in my "Picks" bin.
Found some interesting artifacts including a half dozen "Training Wheel" Stylus picks.
Those things are still very pricey!

Not sure of the vintage status because I have hundreds of Tortex picks. The small green Jazz III Tortex pointy is my current favorite. I like them worn down so I don't have to replace them very often. Helps that I don't put them in my pockets too. I tend to carry picks in my mouth! When I say "parts...
