Most likely the most insane question you'll ever hear...

Stick with me... There's a dud(e) on HCAF...I know, it gets better...who's telling people who are looking to bring the volume down on their amps, to stick a rectifier tube or two into some of the power tube slots. Seems like a really bad idea. But I don't know enough about amps to definitively state...

Re: Deer SUCK

Deer whistles aren't loud enough. I'd rather the little critters FEEL me coming. Low noises are generally more dangerous. (at least animals think so)

Re: Take care of your gear!!!!!

I'm taking notes here...do you mean 'leftovers', or do you mean the little critters that will likely outlive humanity?

Re: Piracy think tank

I read the 4 pirates were all in sight at once and 3 snipers each took one...all at once. Then I read that the firefight took 4 minutes...so who knows? It seems consistant that they left one pirate to surrender. HAH! I changed my mind....have these vessels bunch up into groups and let a few military...

Re: Piracy think tank

The bizarre conundrum is that it is far more expensive to insure the ship when there are firearms aboard than not. Also, some ports will not allow armed merchant ships to moor. In most cases, the ransom paid to recover a ship is far less than the bond posted for the cargo. International law, partic...

Re: Piracy think tank

2000 trillions? Is that like a gazillion? I think it's technically 2 gazillion. Aren't there enough servicemen coming home in the coming months, looking for a job, to outfit every ship traveling thru that area with a security force? Seems like that could be a well paying gig for a speci...

Re: Acceleratied Speaker Breakin

I have sprayed Fabreeze onto the cones of a couple speakers that I felt were too harsh. While they are moist, I like the sound...the bass and mids are accentuated, the highs are still there but smoother. It lasts for several days but a week or so later, the sound is back to normal. They sure smell ...

7189's in a Tiny Terror

A friend of mine has one of these and is looking for more headroom. I suggested 7189's and a 12ay(t)7 in V1.

Anything else? Idea's?

Can I get conformation that 7189's won't wreck his OT or PT? I know there are some inconsistencies between these and el84's...but I'm not 100%

Thanks y'all!

Re: Low flying object...over!

Bush has a GREAT personality.

It's his decision making skills that could use some work.

I can't wait for baby Bush to start doing speaking engagements...and people to start throwing shoes...I know I would.
