In guitar player mag there are pics of Brad Paisley's, it doesn't have mitered corners, they are butted, but it has mitered trim on the front (and back I believe)

You could use the mitered edges, but use screws and dowel plugs cut from the same piece of wood and match the grain that way.

Ground loops. If you can, try it on an isolated ground circuit.

A few months back Guitar Player had pics of Brad Paisley's Trainwreck. I was surprised to see that the round overs were separate trim pieces. You might check it out.

I agree that this would be helpful. I think most of us, even us newbies, have heard of the dangers, but the more info we have available the better. I am kinda leaning toward the Stf Champ head. I will probably go with the master volume kit as well.
