top and bottom braces

Didn't see this mentioned but I cut top and bottom braces per drawing and believe they should be 16 5/8" instead of the 16 5/16" listed.
Have a EVML to load and thanks for the drawing.

More nasally sterile sounding before?

It didn't cleanup as well and sounded more aggressive, there wasn't the chime it has now but had more fizz. After changing the transformers it sounded better so I invested more time and changed out the rest of the parts. Not sure if I still have the before and after clips, if I find them I'll post t...

Re: Ceriatone Expression OT change....?

Changed my transformers/and caps to Mallory od's, then I took out the ceriatone filter caps for Spragues..so I just should've built the express in hind sight. The original sound was less refined and more "marshall". NOS tubes and settled on RCA 6V6's.

Re: JJ EL844 ??

Tried them in my Frenzel sweet 15 which had EH 84's. Less gain at same settings, overall clarity of notes especially the bass is improved. A friend had bought a quad and sent me these to try. I bought a quad for spares.

"Yep the AC-425 is cheap and thin, albiet the real deal

From watching an AnE program this bit of information from Eric Laithwaite who invented the "linear electric motor". He basically showed that aluminum, which isn't magnetic, but can be moved/levitated on a magnetic field very quickly. With no friction or interference like regular steel chassis Ken us...

"I was sitting 20 feet in front of him"

Sometimes you need to pinch yourself to make sure. Saw Harvey Mandel in a small venue and sat right at the front of the stage, same with Johnny Winter with his firebird (cracked piece of the pickguard one).

Re: Alternative video upload site to youtube?

Thanks for the suggestions, I will have a look at them...I went with MySpace for now and it was very easy. The video was part of a research project that some people took the wrong way. Never know what's going to happen when cultures collide on the internet.

Thanks for the closeup. Have you measured your bb caps to see how far they've drifted in value?
