also on valvewizard http://www.valvewizard.co.uk/dccf.html I've tested this and don't feel it's the best place to 'add' a compression characteristic....totally screws up the 'response/recovery' or 'feel'...at least to me Same with screen grid resistors....too funky Dropping in a slightly underrated ...

I notice that there are 2 X 8uF can caps around, but I haven't seen the can clips Vox used that allowed them to be mounted horizontally. Any thoughts. DCR for the Classic Tone is stated to be 105ohms, per there datasheet, you say the Allen is 100ohms. That's within 5%. Is your Vibroverb for a MIL/Aerospace client?
