I LOVE to Bass fish, although I haven't been in quite a few years
Some of my best memories are bass'n with my dad on Chickahominy Lake in VA, and Striper fishing on the Staunton River
THAT is a big fish pretty much anywhere!
Thanks for sharing....

Re: Subaru Bizarre AWD Failure in Accident
Honestly maybe this is a good thing, there could have been a weak link in your system waiting for the opportunity to break and you managed to do it in a relatively low danger environment. Imagine if it was something that coulda broke hitting a pothole on the way up to your place. Hope its not too c...

Re: Grand night out w/ Steely Dan
Thanks Blackburn! Here's another one that I think captures DF pretty well. He seems to channel Ray Charles a bit in his movements while playing too. Not bad for a hand-held phone pic, eh? I'd say so! He really does look like a white Ray! So glad to see them still jamming. :D Zombie Ray! I was...

Re: Kirk Hammett has bought PG/Gary Moore "Greeny" LP
I've not heard what he paid, but he's worth like $70mil, so even if he paid the reported worth of Greeny ($1mil)....pfft! No problem! He'll make enough on the current tour to pay for it, I'm sure..... EDIT: somebody over at MLP said they were asking $500,000, so you can be sure it was less t...

Re: Reactive Attenuator. How they work?
The bad cat unleash is a re-amplifier that can be used as an attenuator, or a booster...so it's a different animal altogether

Hello Dave!
Sounds wonderful to me....the question is, are YOU happy with it?
Sounds like it could/would really sing when cranked up a bit.
Good work!

Re: Dumble volumes and hearing
I am wondering IF it would be possible to take the positive aspects of the RP7 and keep those and delete the tube preamp that sounds "horrible" to make one's own pedal? NEVERMIND ............. after looking at the unit manual, I am seeing it is sort of a computer modeling type thing (I think?). Wit...

Re: Dumble volumes and hearing
I like secret sauce. :D I'm hoping it won't be secret too much longer. :-) Alright, here it is....in the loop of the D-lator is ....an old Digitech RP7 I stumbled onto it by accident, but it just "being there" makes a real difference in maintaining a consistent tone. The RP7 preamp is off (it's hor...

Re: Dumble volumes and hearing
Some notes: *Guitar is an ES-339 type with PAF clones *the amp is a '74 Twin that was dead when it was given to me (freebie) ** separate discrete channels, switched with an A/B box **Channel A is fairly stock 3-triode Fender Clean **Channel B is 4-triode Dumble ODS topology ** PI (IIRC) is standard...

Re: Dumble volumes and hearing
I am very happy with the way my rig can maintain pretty much exact tone at all volumes. Regardless of whether you actually LIKE the tone I'm getting (I do....I tweaked for many hours to get to this point.....the sound I was looking for), I think the video below will demo the ability to maintain cons...
