If you have another known good OT laying around (any PP unit will do for a quick test) you could "tack" it in & see if you get any sound.... I had a B15n blow the OT several months ago....confirmed it with the method described above. The guy chose to NOT repair it at this time, as the Fliptops repla...

Stancor iron is pretty stout stuff....you may just have to go by the physical size to make a "best guess".

The document that shipped with it says to wire it in series to get 40V center tapped, I should connect taps 6 to 7 and taps 5 to 8...
That would be parallel......for series, connect 6 & 8 together & those then become your CT.....5 & 7 then become the supply connections.
